Tarara Tiling is a family-owned Auckland business built by husband-and-wife team Marko and Valentina. Marko is a Croatian master tiler with over 15 years of experience — the kind of tradesman who treats tiling as a craft, not just a job. Valentina looks after everything around it: your quote, your schedule and your questions, so the whole experience is as tidy as the finish.
Meet Marko — Founder & Lead Tiler
Marko learned to tile in Croatia, where the trade is treated as an art passed down with patience and pride. Fifteen years on, that same standard goes into every Auckland bathroom, kitchen and pool he touches — clean lines, flawless grout, and the discipline to get the hidden work right before anyone sees the tiles.
He founded Tarara Tiling in 2021 to bring that craftsmanship to Auckland homeowners, designers and builders who care about the difference between “tiled” and tiled properly.

Meet Valentina — Operations & Client Relations
Valentina manages the client communication, scheduling, quotations and day-to-day administration for Tarara Tiling, making sure every project is organised from the first enquiry through to completion.
Before joining the family business, she worked as an office manager for a leading HVAC company, where she coordinated trades and suppliers, managed invoicing and health-and-safety administration, and kept day-to-day operations running in the construction industry.
Her attention to detail, clear communication and organised approach help make every Tarara Tiling project feel professional, reliable and well managed from start to finish.
